Incoming Students

Students seeking need-based financial aid will be notified of their complete financial aid package after the student has been informed of their admission and a FAFSA has been submitted to the College. We recommend you file the FAFSA as soon as possible after it opens to ensure your financial aid award is sent to you in a timely manner.  Michigan residents must file a FAFSA by July 1. If your legal residence is outside Michigan, you may look up the FAFSA deadline for your state. Kalamazoo College’s FAFSA school code 002275.

Returning Students

Returning students who file a FAFSA must refile each year to renew their financial aid. Fill the FAFSA out as soon as possible after it opens and include K’s FAFSA ID number, 002275. You will be required to submit tax data. Michigan residents must file a FAFSA by July 1 each year. If your legal residence is outside Michigan, you may look up the FAFSA deadline for your state.
